After a long wait, the upcoming UFC Fight Night card in San Antonio finally has a main event as former champion; Rafael dos Anjos (28-11-0) will face Leon ‘Rocky’ Edwards (17-3-0) in a five-round battle in the welterweight division.

Dos Anjos is coming off a fourth-round submission win over Kevin Lee, in his most recent outing in May this year - a win that was well needed following back-to-back losses to Kamaru Usman and former champion, Colby Covington.

While Edwards is flying, coming off a seven fight win streak in the division including victories over Gunnar Nelson, Donald Cerrone and Vicente Luque. Proving himself as a contender in this division, Edwards has been looking for a shot at a top opponent and a potential eighth straight victory, all while building a case for a shot at the title.

With more than just a win on the line, the result of this bout will pave the way for a clear-cut title bout against either Usman or Covington later this year.
