After the recently announced Fight Night of Thiago Santos and Glover Teixeira was called off due to a positive COVID-19 test, the next fight on the list has been bumped up. 

Two powerhouses in the women’s strawweight division will face off, both looking to resurrect their careers in the decision and start their climb back to the top.

Angela Hill had her three fight winning streak halted after losing a split decision to Claudia Gadelha, a decision that Hill was strongly opposed to. This Sunday, Hill will become the first UFC fighter to compete four times in 2020.

Waterson is attempting to snap her losing streak. Originally on a three fight run of her own, she’s since dropped three consecutive bouts to Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Carla Esparza.

After a previously delayed bout, due to personal reasons on Michelle Waterson’s side, the bout is now scheduled and ready to take top spot this Fight Night.
