A card change to this lightweight bout will now see Islam Makhachev and Thiago Moises take the headline act. Initially, Holloway and Rodriguez were scheduled to fight, but Holloway withdrew to injury. Both fighters are ranked in the top 15 and are entering the Octagon off the back of solid wins. Who will add another win to their scorecard?

Pegged by former champion Khabib Nurmagomedov as a champion in the making, Makhachev has lived up to these words. He’s been trailblazing the scene with seven straight wins under his belt. His dominance in the Octagon has seen him take down the likes of Drew Dober, Davi Ramos, Arman Tsarukyan and Kajan Johnson. Ranked #7 in the division, Makhachev also trains with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Can Makhachev make this fight his eighth straight win?

Also entering this fight on straight wins is Thiago Moises. To date he’s picked up three consecutive wins against Alexander Hernandez, Bobby Green and Michael Johnson. Prior to entering the UFC he fought in the Legacy Fighting Alliance. His UFC career sees him ranked #14 in the division.

Will Moises move up the ranks and take another win home?

Co-headlining will be Marion Reneau and Miesha Tate in an exciting Women’s Bantamweight bout. This fight will be a comeback for former champion Tate who hung up the gloves in 2016.
