This card was initially scheduled between Rafael Dos Anjos and Rafael Fiziev, however visa issues meant the fight was a no go. The fight will instead see co-headliners, Johnny Walker and Jamahal Hill be bumped up to take the spotlight. Walker looks to bounce back after losing to Thiago Santos, while Hill chases another win after defeating Jimmy Crute in his previous fight. Who will it be?
No.10 ranked Walker hopes to get back into the win column after a loss to Santos via unanimous decision. Despite this he previously held a four fight win streak where he took down Henrique da Silva, Khalil Rountree Jr., Justin Ledet and Misha Cirkunov. He skidded into a two fight loss against Corey Anderson and Nikita Krylov, only to defeat Ryan Spann.
Can Walker do it?
Hill opposes Walker with his eyes set on picking up more wins. Hill enters the Octagon off the back of a win against Jimmy Crute, who he took down in a record blitz of 48 seconds in the first round. The no.12 ranked contender has previously picked up wins against Alexander Poppeck, Darko Stosic and Paul Craig.
Will this be Hill’s fight?
Co-headlining will be Kyle Daukaus and Jamie Pickett in a catchweight bout, followed by Parker Porter and Alan Baudot in a heavyweight bout.
