UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Daukaus

  • Sports Bar Near You (map)

The year will end with a banger of a UFC fight as Derrick Lewis and Chris Daukaus face off in a heavyweight contender match. Lewis looks to bounce back after missing his chance at the belt as he lost to Ciryl Gane, now interim heavyweight champion. Opposing Lewis is rising star Daukaus who enters this match on a four fight win streak. Who will it be?

The #3 ranked Lewis is looking to get back in the win column after being defeated by Gane during the crucial UFC 265 title fight. Despite this loss, he previously held a four fight win streak where he took down Curtis Blaydes, Aleksei Oleinik, Ilir Latfi and Blagoy Ivanov.

Can Lewis move to the top and get another shot at the title belt?

Meanwhile Daukaus is hot on Lewis’ tail. The promising fighter has started his career with a bang, and remains undefeated at four back-to-back wins. To date he’s defeated Shamil Abdurakhimov, Aleksei Oleinik, Rodrigo Nascimento and Parker Porter. He’s impressively fought his way to #7 in the division, and looks to take it further.

Will Daukaus extend his streak and make it five in a row?

Co-headlining will be Cub Swanson and Darren Elkins. They’ll go head-to-head in a featherweight bout. Elkins looks to stretch his streak after defeating Darrick Minner in the second round, while Swanson looks to pick up a win after losing to Giga Chikadze back in May. Who’s got what it takes?
