The scores will be settled at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this December when UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman defends his title against heated rival Colby Covington in the main event of UFC 245.

In what will be his first title defence, since he took the belt in dominant fashion from Tyron Woodley in March, Kamaru Usman has won 14 straight fights leading into the bout, and he expects to end his feud with Covington once and for all. 

Covington is on a seven in a row stretch, that includes wins over Robbie Lawler and Rafael Dos Anjos. Covington was extremely vocal with his thoughts on Usman’s title win back in March, adamant that the only reason Usman can call himself the division’s best fighter is because Covington was unable to secure a match against the previous champ, Woodley before Usman did.

Leading into the bout, things have already been heated. Covington and Usman reportedly got into a scuffle while standing in a hotel buffet line, the day after Usman won the title. Since that altercation, tension has been building, and both fighters have been keen to have a crack at the other. This will be one for the ages, bad blood and rivalry on the table, these two athletes will leave it all out on the floor.

Rounding out the HUGE card, is current champ, Max Holloway, defending his title against Alexander Volkonovski. Not to be outdone, another current double champ, Amanda Nunes will face off with Germaine De Randamie to defend her Bantamweight title.
